Recent studies have shown that the elimination of caffeine from the diet has a direct effect on some women in the control of fibrocystic breast changes. Foods and medicines containing caffeine should be avoided.

The above products are just some of the more common items containing caffeine and caffeine-like substances (i.e., Theophylline, Theobromine). Please read labels carefully should a question arise concerning the caffeine content. Many women with fibrocystic breast changes also find it helpful to take a Vitamin E supplement. Other supplements that may help include Vitamin B6 and Evening Primrose oil.

A sample regimen of Vitamin E is:
200 iu/day or as prescribed by your physician
