Peter S. Dunner, MD

Peter S. Dunner, MD Dr. Dunner received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1976 and his training in diagnostic radiology at The New York Hospital- Cornell University and The George Washington University Medical Center. He joined WRA in 1982. In 1984, Dr. Dunner initiated the first low-cost breast cancer screening program in the Northern Virginia area and in 1994 he introduced stereotactic needle biopsy of breast lesions in our suburban Fairfax office. Dr. Dunner is an associate clinical professor at The George Washington University School of Medicine and lectures frequently at area hospitals. He is a published journalist and exhibited photographer. He serves as the Physician Administrator of the Fairfax office.
