Julianne S. Greenberg, MD

Julianne S. Greenberg, MD Dr. Greenberg received her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in 1988, and completed her residency there in diagnostic radiology in 1993. She was previously Assistant Professor of Radiology at Georgetown University Medical Center and George Washington University Medical Center. She served as the Assistant Director of Breast Imaging in the Radiology Department at Georgetown, and then Director of Breast Imaging at George Washington University Medical Center before joining Washington Radiology in 2000, specializing in women's imaging. Dr. Greenberg is nationally published in scientific journals of radiology, and she serves in an editorial review capacity for scientific radiology periodicals. She was previously an editorial board member of the Journal of Women’s Imaging, and currently serves as an Advisory Panel Member for Women’s Imaging Online, published by the American Journal of Roentgenology. She is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, and is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. In 1999, Dr. Greenberg founded the Breast Cancer Care Foundation, a charitable organization that provides breast health resource referrals and financial grants to underserved breast cancer patients in the local community.
