Ian R. Peterkin, MD, FACR

Ian R. Peterkin, MD, FACR Dr. Peterkin graduated from the University Of Ottawa School Of Medicine in 1989 and completed a comprehensive internal medicine internship at Ottawa General Hospital. Dr. Peterkin received his residency training in diagnostic radiology at the University Of Ottawa School Of Medicine which he completed in 1994. A clinical assistant professor in the department of radiology at Georgetown University Medical Center, Dr. Peterkin was in private practice in Virginia and Maryland before joining WRA in 1999. Dr. Peterkin has authored or co-authored scientific and medical imaging research papers. He serves on the Radiological Society of North America’s Publications Council responsible for monitoring the Radiology and RadioGraphics journals as well as exploring new concepts in radiology publication. He is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology and Past-President of the ACR’s Washington DC Chapter.
