Aram Salem, MDRadiologist
Dr. Aram Salem received his medical degree from Rush University Medical College (Chicago, IL) in 2000. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Chicago’s Illinois Masonic Medical Center in 2005. Dr. Salem relocated to Los Angeles in 2010 where he subsequently completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal MRI at Beverly Radiology, studying under Dr. John Crues, a well-regarded leader in orthopedic imaging. During this time he had the opportunity to work with Kerlan- Jobe orthopedics and various professional athletes from the Los Angeles Angles, Los Angeles Kings, and the Los Angeles Clippers.
In addition to his experience in musculoskeletal imaging, Dr. Salem has developed a concentrated area of expertise in urological imaging including prostate MRI. In 2013 he helped develop and implement an in-house multi-parameter (MP) prostate MRI and fusion biopsy program with a 65-physician urology group based in Southern California. Since that time he has interpreted well over 3,500 prostate MRI studies, making him one of the most experienced practitioners in that modality nationwide. Board certified in diagnostic radiology, Dr. Salem joined Washington Radiology in 2018.
