Brian T. Fogarty, MDRadiologist
Dr. Brian Fogarty received his medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School in Washington, DC, in 1999 after graduating from the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. He completed his residency in radiology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, DC in 2008.
Before joining Washington Radiology in 2019, Dr. Fogarty was an academic radiologist at Walter Reed, responsible for educating medical students, interns and general diagnostic radiology residents on musculoskeletal imaging, cardiac imaging and breast imaging. Prior to this, he served as a diagnostic radiologist at Keller Army Hospital at West Point from 2008 to 2015. Dr. Fogarty also served in Mosul, Iraq as the Chief Radiologist for the 47th Combat Support Hospital.
Dr. Fogarty is board certified in diagnostic radiology, has published numerous journal articles and is an experienced lecturer in multi-disciplinary imaging. At Washington Radiology his areas of concentration include musculoskeletal MRI imaging of the body and spine, as well as general ultrasound, mammography and CT.
