About Alexander Steever

Dr. Alex Steever earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University in New York City. After an internship in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital in New York City, Dr. Steever completed his residency training at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and continued his training with a fellowship in Musculoskeletal and Body MRI, also at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. He spent six years as an attending Radiologist and Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Harlem Hospital Center affiliate of Columbia University Medical Center. While there, he was Director of MRI Service and taught and mentored Radiology residents and Columbia University medical students. Dr. Steever joined Washington Radiology in 2014 and serves as director of CT and MRI services.
