Amanda T. Kappler, MD


Dr. Amanda Kappler graduated from Georgetown University School Of Medicine with her medical degree in 2012.  She completed a transitional internship at Inova Fairfax Hospital in 2012, residency training in diagnostic radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston in 2017 and fellowship training in Breast Imaging at George Washington University, Washington DC in 2018.  Dr. Kappler has been involved in breast imaging research, specifically the role of ultrasound in screening dense breasts which was published in the journal of Diagnostics.  Dr. Kappler joined Washington Radiology in 2018.
