H. Hannah Kim, MDDirector of Breast Imaging
Dr. Hannah Kim received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine in 1995. She completed her residency training in diagnostic radiology at George Washington University Medical Center in 1999, and a fellowship in women's imaging at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh in 2000.
Prior to joining Washington Radiology, Dr. Kim was a partner for 17 years in a Maryland-based hospital radiology practice. During her tenure, she was appointed medical director of breast imaging for their Bethesda center. She also served as the supervising radiologist for the quality assurance program at the hospital’s breast imaging division. Dr. Kim has been published in academic imaging journals related to breast calcifications and other research topics. She is a board certified, fellowship-trained breast imaging radiologist. Her special areas of interest include breast MRI, mammography, ultrasound, stereotactic and ultrasound guided biopsies and procedures. Dr. Kim joined Washington Radiology in 2017.
