Islamiat Ego-Osuala, MDRadiologist
Dr. Islamiat Ego-Osuala received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine with AOA Honors in 2011. She completed her transitional year internship at MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, MD in 2012. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency in 2016 followed by a breast imaging fellowship training in 2017 at New York University (NYU) School of Medicine, where she was named 'Fellow of the Year'. She is a board-certified radiologist.
Prior to joining Washington Radiology, she served as a diagnostic radiologist specializing in breast and body imaging at a private practice in the tristate region. She has worked on several research projects and has presented at national meetings. She also has published articles in American Journal of Roentgenology (AJR) and Journal of Computed Assisted Tomography (JCAT). Dr. Ego-Osuala joined Washington Radiology in 2020.
