Jason Katzen

Jason B. Katzen, MD


Dr. Katzen received his medical degree from George Washington University Medical School in 2006. He continued his medical training there, completing an internship in internal medicine at George Washington University Hospital in 2007 and a residency in diagnostic radiology in 2011. After completing a fellowship in breast imaging at George Washington Medical Center in 2011, he pursued a second fellowship in breast imaging at Columbia University, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, finishing in 2012. Dr. Katzen has co-authored a variety of manuscripts based on research of mitotic rate and malignant melanoma, brain lesions and MRI, breast cancer and PET-CT, and neuroradiologic evaluation of temporal lobe and limbic lesions. He co-authored a chapter in the published book, Women's Health in Interventional Radiology. Dr. Katzen reviews manuscripts submitted for publication consideration to the Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine. He joined Washington Radiology in 2012.
