Washington Radiology physician inducted as a fellow of American College of Radiology

Jason Katzen, M.D., board-certified diagnostic radiologist at Washington Radiology, has been inducted as a fellow of the American College of Radiology.

Dr. Katzen was inducted during the ACR’s annual meeting on May 3, an honor only 15 percent of current ACR members have received. Fellowship is awarded to ACR members who have demonstrated service to the ACR, made significant accomplishments in scientific or clinical research in the field of radiology, made significant contributions to literature, or provided outstanding work as a teacher of radiology.

“I am honored to be recognized for my service to the American College of Radiology and for providing outstanding clinical care,” said Dr. Katzen.

Dr. Katzen received his medical degree from George Washington University Medical School in Washington DC. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. After completing a fellowship in Breast Imaging at George Washington Medical Center, he pursued a second fellowship in Breast Imaging at Columbia University, New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. He also received a Master of Business Administration from Boston University In 2025. Dr. Katzen joined Washington Radiology in 2012.
