About Sandra Allison

Dr. Allison received her medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY and completed an Internal Medicine internship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City and a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Allison then completed a fellowship in Ultrasound, CT and MRI at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Allison was a faculty radiologist with Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, serving as Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency program at Georgetown University Hospital, an Associate Professor of Radiology at Georgetown University School of Medicine and Director of the Division of Ultrasound. Dr. Allison is widely published  and continues to lecture nationally and internationally in ultrasound, and is the author of numerous chapters on imaging in gynecologic, vascular and musculoskeletal ultrasound. Dr. Allison joined Washington Radiology in 2013.
